Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December, 1991. The son of Manny James, and Patty James of mixed race. Her mother is caucasian while his father was Nigerian. When he graduated from Sanderson High School, in 2010, he attended Wake Forest University and obtained an Economics Bachelor's Degree. James first gained popularity when he was a Reality Actor in The Bachelorette. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in the year 2021. The following Bachelor was James who was his first African American to play the main role. James was the best selection for the role as he is well-rounded tall, athletic and has a good sense of humor. Rachael Krokconnell won the show by allowing James to establish an affair with her. James was paired with dancer Arnold whom was also famous in the era of his participation in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold were ranked 12th.
